How to get to Mermaid Quay

By Train

A frequent shuttle service runs from Queen Street station to Cardiff Bay station approximately every 15 minutes except on Sunday.

By Car

  • Exit M4 at Junction 33 onto the A4232.
  • Follow the signs for Cardiff Bay.
  • Follow the A4232 over the River Taff Bridge.
  • First exit over the bridge (signed Techniquest).
  • Across the roundabout. Mermaid Quay car park is 100m on the left.

By Bus

  • Service 7, 7A and 7E from Churchill Way.
  • Service 8 from Wood Street.
  • Service 35 from Mary St via Bute Street.
  • Service 17 from Ely (Green Farm Road).*
  • Service X46 from St Mellons (Willowbrook Drive).*
  • Service X59 from Cardiff Gate (Malthouse Av).*
